Car, motorcycle, and overlanding enthusiasts all around Manila had the time of their lives at one grand event held recently at the World Trade Center in Pasay. The largest auto and motoring event had made a comeback this April to display exhibits and hold exciting activities for all to see. We had the honor of meeting some of you at our campgrounds here at Overland Kings on the Manila International Auto Show 2022. What Is The Manila International Auto Show All About
The Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) is one of the most anticipated motoring and driving events in the Philippines, with the first event held in April 2005. With the most dynamic and extensive automotive displays and exhilarating showcases, you are guaranteed to have a memorable experience.
The event was organized by Worldbex Services International (WSI), which is one of the leading exhibition and events management companies in the Philippines. They’re behind events such as the Manila Foods and Beverages Expo, Cebu Auto Show, and World Bazaar Festival.
Highlights From The 2022 MIAS
The MIAS returned on April 7 to 10, 2022 on-ground at the World Trade Center Metro Manila after two years of rest due to the pandemic. The event welcomed auto enthusiasts, industry professionals, racecar drivers, and even casual hobbyists.
From the different car collections and the latest models from auto manufacturers and distributors — there were much to be seen at this one-of-a-kind event. Visitors from all over Manila and nearby provinces enjoyed the custom and classic car competition and the Driver of the Year Awards. The Russ Swift stunt driving show also returned to perform their impressive and crazy stunts that wowed the audience.
Overland Kings Joins The 2022 MIAS
Aside from racing cars, motorcycles, customized vehicles, and newly launched car models, the best overland rig builds were also showcased at the event. As a participant in the 2022 MIAS, we have set up our overland campgrounds to display our latest builds, gear, and many more. We also gave special discounts at the event, so those who dropped by were able to save money while getting the best gear for their overland rig.
We also displayed our newest merchandise that will make a wonderful addition to any 4×4 vehicle. To commemorate this special event, we showcased the all-new iKamper Skycamp 4x 3.0 before it is officially released later this year!
By participating in the event, we had the honor of meeting so many overland enthusiasts and hear stories about their most memorable camping trips. Next time, we hope that we could meet those who missed the event.
